Splashing

I sit in Ten Eyck Plaza at lot. Partly because it's a fairly quiet spot to relax, but mostly because it's right next to the Starbucks at State and Pearl Streets.

One of these days, I'll post about the Plaza's past...Elm Tree Corner, Tweddle Hall, a gorgeous old bank building. But, for now, I'm just going to enjoy the fountain which is finally on for the season...and an iced coffee.

  1. As much as it's a shame that no one knows about Elm Tree Corner -- there isn't even a marker, I don't think, though I think there's one for Philip Livingston somewhere, my biggest regret is that I never saw the beautiful Albany Savings Bank Building that used to be in this space.
