Graffiti Ghosts

The chemicals used to clean this graffiti from the wall of one of the stairwells atop the Empire State Plaza apparently etched the marble and left a more permanent version of the stick-figure scrawl.

The eastern wall of 132 State Street shows traces of a long-demolished building next door, including old wall-ties and the outlines of a roof and floors.
